European Social Stack

Vision paper on the way...

Ooh yes.. almost forgot about it.. btw. In the run-up to FOSDEM, we took part in a workshop regarding the European Social Web, organised by Evan of SocialWebFoundation (thank you, Evan!).

The consensus reached in the workshop (though not unanimous) was that a message emphasising the interoperability of distributed social networking, along with shared principles of decentralisation, open standards, and open source, would best advance social sovereignty forward in Europe.

The result is currently drafted in a vision paper, presumably to be shared real soon…
Preludes where recently mentioned at 2MR in Hamburg… stay tuned!
