By car
When coming to the NOAW unconference, we recommend you one of two parking lots:
- Parking Centrum Oosterdok Oosterdokkstraat 150 1022ADAmsterdam
- Interparking IJ-oever Centrum Vriesseveem 9 1019GM Amsterdam
From either parking lot, it is a 10/15 minute walk to the venue.
By bike or foot
There are two access points to the Marineterrein if you travel by bicyle or by foot:
From Central Station:
Go along the Oosterdokskade towards NEMO Science Museum.
Pass the public library and when you reach the bend in the road, take the Commandants Bridge to your right to cross the water to the Marineterrein. Go past Hanneke’s Boom and MediaMatic and take the first bridge to your right. At the end of the bridge, stay right, go past Scheepskameel and follow the pad next to the water till you reach the venue.

Access the Marineterrein at Kattenburgerstraat 5
Go past Pension Homeland and take the first path to your left to stay next to the water. Follow the path till you reach the venue.
By public transport
Tram 26. Stop: Muziekgebouw BIMHuis
Head in the direction of Central Station and take the stairs down. At the bottom of the stairs, turn left and follow the corner to the left to walk along the climbing wall. Pass MediaMatic and take the first bridge on your right. At the end of the bridge, keep to the right and continue past Scheepskameel and follow the pad next to the water till you reach the venue.
Bus 22 | Halte: Kadijksplein
Walk past the National Maritime Museum and enter the Marineterrein at Kattenburgerstraat 5.
Go past Pension Homeland and take the first path to your left to stay next to the water. Follow the path till you reach the venue.
Amsterdam Central Station

The Marineterrein is a car-free zone and the taxi will drop you off at the entrance from where you can walk 250/300m to the venue. Go past Pension Homeland and take the first path to your left to stay next to the water. Follow the path till you reach the venue.
